High Quality, Powerful Performance and Advanced Features Purpose Engineered for Mobile Applications

Samsung Techwin America is expanding its portfolio of innovative video surveillance solutions for mobile applications with the introduction of its 3MP 360° megapixel camera (SNF-7010VM), 2 MP Full HD Network Mobile Flat Dome (SNV-6012M) and ONVIF compliant SRM-872 Mobile NVR at ISC West (booth #14079). Each has been purpose engineered to meet the challenges of mobile applications and deliver the highest quality video with extremely reliable recording capability.

“The Samsung SNF-7010VM, SNV-6012M and SRM-872 have been designed to deliver the perfect complement of advanced features, performance and value for demanding mobile and transportation applications,” said Frank De Fina, Samsung's Executive Vice President, North America. “The SNF-7010VM provides a highly effective solution for wide area surveillance with the added benefit of mobile capability. The vandal-resistant SNV-6012M is fully mobile and has been designed to meet the challenging conditions for surveillance on-board trains, buses and other modes of public transport. And the SRM-872 delivers all the features and functionality needed for secure and reliable video storage on the go in a compact size. When paired together, they form a complete mobile surveillance system that delivers unmatched quality and reliability.”

The omnidirectional SNF-7010VM is a 3 megapixel 1080p high definition camera with a fisheye lens, digital pan/tilt/zoom (P/T/Z) and bi-directional audio and M12 connector for secure installation in mobile applications.

Images captured with the SNF-7010VM 360° megapixel camera can be displayed in a variety of configurations including single panorama, double panorama, quad, single rectangle, original fisheye and user-selectable region. P/T/Z functionality can be activated on paused or live images in any of the configurations as well as on recorded video. Motion detection provides effective monitoring by detecting any changes in the pre-defined field of view.

The camera has a wide dynamic range of 120dB for corner to corner outstanding picture quality and offers both H.264 and MJPEG compression technologies. It features automatic day/night image capture, audio and tampering detection, privacy masking, SDXC memory card support and alarm triggers for motion detection and network disconnection. Advanced Samsung technology engineered into the camera’s design includes Samsung Super Dynamic Range (SSDR) and Samsung Digital Noise Reduction (SSNRIII). At 3 megapixel quality, it can transmit at 20 fps.

The Samsung SNV-6012M mobile flat camera is IP66 rated and equipped with a rugged M12 connector to withstand vibration and harsh weather environments. Utilizing bandwidth-friendly H.264 compression along with the option to use MJPEG compression, the SNV-6012M can capture high quality color images with a lighting level as low as 0.03 lux, with an ultra-fast frame rate of 60fps at 1080p for latency free clear images. Together with Samsung’s Motion Artefact Reduction technology, this keeps image edges sharp and clear, even when subjects are moving.

A defog feature improves the clarity of images in poor environmental conditions such as rain, smoke or fog, while Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) negates the effects of vibration. This also greatly reduces rolling shutter effects such as image wobbling or skew that can be seen in high quality images. The enhanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) built into the Samsung SNV-6012M’s WiseNetIII DSP chipset, with performance greater than 120dB, accurately produces images in scenes with both very bright and very dark areas.

The Samsung SNV-6012M is ONVIF compliant to interoperate with the widest possible range of recording and display solutions. An optional wider angle version of the SNV-6012M and SNV-6013 is also available with an f2.1mm lens and 165° horizontal viewing angle.

Boasting the smallest footprint on the market, the SRM-872 has a single DIN and a built-in VGA/HDMI output for HD monitor connection with full menu-driven mouse support. The SRM-872 offers high-quality HD recording Samsung Style, with 64 Mbps throughput for up to eight megapixel cameras. It also boasts an impressive feature set, including GPS data recording support, driver status and panic box, remote control, a built-in web server, two-way audio communication, and Smart Viewer software for remote access to the unit. The SRM-872 also offers Wi-Fi, 3/4G cellular and M12 connectivity options for wireless remote access and operation.

The SRM-872 provides 1TB of on-board storage, as well as a Micro SD slot for storing up to 32GB for easy removal and review. It supports H.264 and MJPEG video as well as a wide variety of resolutions ranging from CIF to 3 megapixels. For extra security, the SRM-872 is equipped with a hot-swappable HDD/SDD. With an operating temperature range from -13°F to 122°F (-25°C to 50°C), the SRM-872 provides stability and continuity in extreme hot and cold environments.
