South Glen Falls School District Deploys Security Surveillance Platform To 5 Schools

South Glens Falls School District, located approximately 30 miles North of Albany, New York, is made up of four elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. Like many other K-12 districts, South Glen Falls School District is facing a number of information technology (IT) challenges and opportunities to enhance curriculum and student safety in the 21st century.

The South Glens Falls School District IT team, collaborating with the Washington Saratoga, Warren, Hamilton, Essex BOCES, and Seneca for additional technical resources, has embarked upon projects to increase IT efficiencies, reduce cost, and enhance student safety across the district.

The school district has made use of three key technologies to complete these projects:
