Sterling Payment Technologies Expands EMV Offerings With Datacap's NETePay

Sterling Payment Technologies, a national payment processor and provider of integrated payment solutions, announced recntly the completion of US EMV level 3 certification with Datacap Systems and the card brands. The EMV-capable version of NETePay provides Sterling’s extensive network of point of sale providers with the ability to deliver US EMV functionality via an evolving list of PIN Pads through a simple out-of-scope interface.

Sterling NETePay is available via the Sterling/Datacap Usage Program, allowing dealers to provide NETePay via a “solution-as-a-service” model, therefore creating a recurring revenue stream without upfront investment or risk for the installer. Sterling will begin deploying the EMV-capable version of NETePay in the coming weeks.

The initial EMV-capable release of NETePay is certified to utilize the VX 805 PIN Pad from Verifone that supports EMV, MSR, PIN and NFC contactless transactions. Additional hardware options supporting signature capture, unattended applications, and mobile solutions will be released shortly via subsequent re-certifications.
