StorageCraft ShadowProtect IT Edition 5 Now On Sale

Business solution allows unlimited disaster recovery, data protection and system migration for all Windows systems

Backup and disaster recovery of Microsoft Windows systems became easier today with the release of StorageCraft ShadowProtect IT Edition 5. This latest addition to the award-winning ShadowProtect line of disaster recovery products has several new features, including support for Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8.

ShadowProtect IT Edition 5 provides system administrators with unlimited disaster recovery, data protection and system migration for every Windows system in a company’s IT environment without installing any software. ShadowProtect IT Edition also allows administrators to recover data anywhere, at any time, enabling a business to continue operations following a disaster.

“We know small and medium-sized businesses face many challenges managing and maintaining business systems. StorageCraft ShadowProtect IT Edition 5 is a tool that is easy to use and will efficiently help them protect valuable business systems and data, without adding new headaches to system administration,” said Brandon Nordquist, vice president of product management at StorageCraft Technology Corporation.

Another new feature of ShadowProtect IT Edition 5 is the Disk Copy feature that allows administrators to make an exact duplicate of a disk. This feature can capture everything on a system: operating system, applications and data.

Other features of the ShadowProtect IT Edition 5 allow users to:

  • Perform a bare metal recovery of Windows servers, desktops and laptops in minutes.
  • Restore backup images to or from physical and virtual machines.
  • Migrate backup images to new systems (physical or virtual) with StorageCraft Hardware Independent Restore technology.
  • Back up systems without installing any software.
  • Recover individual files and folders in moments.
  • Use on an unlimited number of servers, desktops and laptops during your subscription period.

ShadowProtect IT Edition 5, along with the entire StorageCraft Recover-Ability Solution, is available to managed service providers (MSPs) and value added resellers (VARs) throughout the world and can be purchased through flexible subscription models.
