Stratix Adds Industry Veterans To Leadership Team

Viscount, Nielsen combine nearly 50 years of technology experience

Stratix has made two significant additions to its management team, hiring Brian Viscount as Vice President, Portfolio Management, and Marco Nielsen as Vice President, Managed Mobility Services.

Viscount comes to Stratix with over 25 years of product and portfolio management expertise at Symbol Technologies and subsequently Motorola Solutions Inc. In this newly established leadership position, he will be responsible for managing and guiding the continued evolution of our managed mobile services portfolio, working closely with customers, strategic alliances, sales and marketing.

Through his career, Viscount has held positions in engineering, product management and industry strategy. Most recently, Viscount led the North American Vertical Markets for Motorola Solutions, where he managed a team of industry experts to define product and go-to-market strategies. His blend of engineering, product management and customer/partner experience makes him uniquely qualified to help lead the Stratix product portfolio into the nextchapter of mobility as a service.

Nielsen brings more than 20 years of experience leading, developing and executing global enterprise mobility strategies. Most recently, Nielsen was the Vice President of Services and Chief Mobility Architect at Enterprise Mobile, a Microsoft funded start-up that was sold to Intermec now a part of Honeywell through its Intermec acquisition. Nielsen spent seven years at Enterprise Mobile, assuming numerous leadership responsibilities. At Stratix, Marco will lead a team of mobility consultants; solution architects and project managers delivering critical support and sales strategy for large global customer engagements.

Nielsen is a noted speaker on mobility topics at various conferences and in monthly webinars. He has been designated a Subject Matter Expert for the newly released CompTIA Mobility+ exam.
