Stegner, Jow and Franklin again honored for channel accomplishments and commitment to driving business innovation and IT channel growth

SYNNEX Corporation, a leading distributor of IT products and services, announced R5ECEN that Bob Stegner, Senior Vice President, Marketing, North America, Steve Jow, Senior Vice President, Sales, and Eddie Franklin, Vice President, Sales, Public Sector, have been named 2015 CRN Channel Chiefs. The annual list represents the most powerful leaders in the IT channel who hold direct responsibility for driving growth and revenue for their organizations. Individuals are selected based on channel accomplishments, standing in the industry, dedication to the partner community and plans for driving future business innovation and channel growth.

Mr. Stegner has been recognized as a CRN Channel Chief for seven consecutive years. This year, he was selected for expanding the SYNNEX Varnex Community to reach partners in Japan, in addition to growing its established member base in the US and Canada. Stegner and the Varnex team increased the frequency of the program's regional events, which foster networking and collaboration and of Varnex University, which offers a proven-effective sales curriculum to reseller partners. Stegner and his team enhanced several marketing tools including PROMOCentral, which makes it possible for customers to access up-to-date vendor promotions from one location and gain access to added rewards and offers.

Mr. Jow was selected for his investments in SYNNEX' small-to-medium business (SMB) teams, which help SMB businesses find new avenues for growth. Last year, Jow implemented new strategies around the SYNNEX Solv practices, technology solutions that address complex business challenges for vendors and reseller partners. He contributed to the growth of the SYNNEX K-12 education ecosystem, partnering with new vendors and adding dedicated resources such as professional development, teacher trainings and customized logistics.

Mr. Franklin was selected for his continued investments in the Public Sector business under SYNNEX' GOVSolv group. Over the course of 2014, Franklin crafted a vision and helped create a complete solution around Google's Chome platform, which SYNNEX was the first to introduce to the IT channel last January. Franklin and his team produced a professional development solution for K-12 professionals and expanded SYNNEX' role in capturing and administering government contracts. Under Franklin's leadership, the SYNNEX Public Sector community grew more than 20 percent over 2013.

"Stegner, Jow and Franklin continue to deliver results that contribute to SYNNEX' growth and the advancement of the IT channel," said Peter Larocque, President, North America Distribution, SYNNEX Corporation. "As the channel continues to experience innovation, growth and disruption, these types of leaders are integral to helping our vendor and reseller partners identify and take advantage of new opportunities to help improve their businesses and contribute to the industry overall."
