U.S. Still Among Top 12 Spam Relaying Countries

The United States was still at the top of the pile as Sophos found when it looked at the top 12 spam relaying countries in Q1. The United States is responsible for relaying more than 15% of global spam messages.
Brazil also saw an increases; it jumped from fourth to second place since last quarter. That country is now the source of more than 10% of spam emails, compared to 4.3% during the same period last year.
The overall message - VARs, keep reminding your customers that anti-spam is worth the investment.
