Case Study: Westwood One

Patrick Parnham is Vice President of Technical Services for Westwood One, a large provider of network radio programming and one of the largest domestic providers of network radio programming and one of the largest domestic providers of traffic information in the U.S. It serves more than 5,000 radio and 170 TV stations.

The culmination of that Internet research resulted in a discovery of ESET NOD32® Antivirus. Westwood One brought it in for testing and ultimately made the purchase.

These days, every purchase has to be justified and provide a return. For Patrick and his team, ESET is no exception. "Since 3.0, it's been a rock-solid system for us in both enterprise-wide and single-user versions. Sure there are more expensive alternatives, but ESET is much more cost effective, and it's already in place. This is one of the few cases where legacy doesn't work against us."
