Competition Aims To Recognize Developers That Further AIDC

The 2015 AIDC (Non RFID) Case Study Competition is open for submissions through July 31, 2015.

AIM, the industry association for innovation and technology solutions in automatic identification and data capture, has announced the 2015 AIDC (Non RFID) Case Study Competition is now open for submissions through July 31. The competition is open to all AIM members and partners in an effort to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The competition guidelines state, “AIM is looking to recognize those who have developed and delivered compelling solutions that contribute to the growth and advancement of AIDC (Non RFID) in the industry.” The award is intended to honor AIM members and partners who help facilitate and speed up the adoption of new and innovative technologies and to engage industry collaboration through success stories focused on commercial applications in the current marketplace.

The winner will receive:

  • Recognition at a special awards event at the AIM Summit 2016 Conference
  • The opportunity to present the winning case study at AIM Summit 2016
  • Featured placement in AIMatters (AIM’s newsletter), a publication with more than 20,000 industry subscribers
  • Prominent placement on the AIM website
  • An AIM news release and media recognition announcing the winning case study.

Each submission requires a completed entry form, case study/article, and participant release form, and m7ust be submitted to AIM online via this link. All submissions must be based on fully functional installations; no pilot programs are acceptable. Participants may also submit multiple entries, but each submission must be entered separately and contain all required documentation.

Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts in four categories: presentation of case study; likelihood of passing the test of time; technical design and demonstrable benefits; and novelty/innovation.

The 2014 AIDC Case Study Competition Winner was Loftware, for its case study “Loftware Spectrum + Hypertherm = Seven Figure $avings.”
