The RSPA Webinar Series has announced new offerings this fall, designed to educate and improve your team’s performance with information provided by industry experts.

The webinar programs provide tips for success from experts, best practices from experienced leaders in the field, and information on the newest innovations in technology. The webinars are also interactive, allowing participants to contribute via Q&A sessions and chats moderated during broadcast. All webinars are recorded and archived for exclusive access by RSPA members, although the live broadcasts are free for both members and non-members.

New webinars for this fall include:

  • The Value of Receipts: Printed and Digital, presented by Jon Levin of Allscripts, on September 9. This webinar will highlight the true value of receipts and how you can communicate that value to your merchant customers.
  • Retail Technology Trends, presented by Greg Buzek of IHL Group on September 10.
  • Low Hanging Fruit in the Cloud: Solutions Retailers Need, presented by Ingram Micro on September 16. This webinar will demonstrate how and why you need to sell cloud services to stay relevant and competitive, as retailers are moving to cloud-based technology solutions to reduce costs, increase operational efficiency, eliminate redundancy, provide scalability, and increase security.
  • How To Tackle Evolving Customer Expectations with Mobile POS: For Beginners, presented by Mario Carrillo of Panasonic, on September 30. The rise in customer use of mobile devices to research purchases while shopping in-store has forced retailers to rethink the customer experience and adopt a more omni-channel approach. This session will help you learn how you can help your end users implement mobile POS technology to meet evolving customer expectations. IT is tailored to VARs who are new to the mobile POS landscape, and provides the essential data to engage in substantive conversations with your customers about the evolving role of POS.
  • Who’s Minding the Store? How To Protect a Retailer’s Data, presented by Ingram Micro on October 14. This session will highlight approaches to security that will help retailers reduce fraudulent card activity and cyber-attacks. How can you know if you are offering the right protection to your retail customers, given the flood of security solutions currently on the market? This seminar helps make sense of the flood in order to thrive in this growing market.

All webinars begin at 2 pm Eastern Standard Time.

RSPA also has created EMV Central for its members, a go-to resource for EMV, including a calendar of EMV educational events, on-demand EMV webinars and videos, and white papers and checklists, to help retailers stay updated about the EMV transition.
