Money 2020: Building A Foundation For Mobile Payment Adoption
Jameson Publishing and Business Solutions magazine President Jim Roddy interviews David Gosman, CEO of pcAmerica, in this Executive-To-Executive interview conducted at the Money2020 conference, held Oct. 6-10, 2013 at the Aria in Las Vegas.
Gosman says the conversation at Money2020 about trends in mobile payment technologies led to questions of how to encourage consumers to use the technology and what the benefits will be to them. He comments, however, attempting to start with users, rather than establishing a network with banks and retailers, might not be the way to mass adoption. “I’m glad to see some companies are concentrating more on infrastructure and relationships before they go to users,” Gosman says.
